I wrote in the journal yesterday and added the pictures but they didn't upload. The internet comes and goes here in the desert.
Saddle Mountain RV Park is the former company living quarters for workers and families who built the Palo Verde Nuclear Plant near here in 1978-1980. There were single wides, double wides and dorms with rec room, pools, clubhouse, laundry, its own water and septic systems plus fire department. The mobile homes are gone leaving large campsites for over nighters and long term stay RVerss. The dorms are used by single men since there are 7 bathrooms for every 15 rooms so single women and families can't use the space. We talked to a worker today from Kennebunkport, ME who is working at the nuclear plant. It was like home to hear his Maine accent.
We love the campsite we have since we can enjoy a mountain views in every direction. When I wake up, I can see blue sky and mountains from my pillow. It is energizing to wake up to light every day. Even on the storm days, it was light.
Today, we biked in the desert for a couple hours. Easy going, flat ride till we hit mud and then we were quickly slowed. This afternoon, Sonny played golf while I explored Buckeye, AZ.
Tomorrow, we will move once again back to Desert Hot Springs in CA for 5-6 days.

| The park from our campsite. Again, we are among the smallest traveling rigs. The fulltimers have the luxuries of larger living space but we get better gas mileage. |

| Sunday, the wind continued from the night before. The palms were bent at their tops from the wind gusts. Temps dropped nearly 30*. |
